FINALLY FRIDAY

Just a real quick note today. We have had company this week, Jeremy's parents came in and have been staying with us so I haven't been online much. Its been a pretty good week though. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. The weather has finally gottent to be spring like and I am loving that. Despite the rain, atleast it isn't COLD anymore. Its time for the warmer temps and who doesn't like spring weather??? I am thrilled thats its Friday and I am not sure what the weekend will hold but I know that it wont include coming to work so it has to be pretty good. Happy FRiday!!!!!

Weekend rundown

Well yesterday was a pretty peaceful and relaxing day. We didn't even leave the house. We needed to do some cleaning so we got some of that done but basically just took it easy here at home and it was pretty nice. Friday night we went to BG and went to have an ultrasound done hoping to find out what we were having for sure but we didn't really get any clarity. We do know that if indeed it is a boy, it was hiding very well. Looked to me like we may have a lil girl instead but we will have to wait a lil longer to find out. We have an ultrasound scheduled at the Med Center on April 14th so we should know by then atleast. This one was just one we had done by a friend just for fun. It was sooo cute though because it was doing all kinds of little things. One time it was sucking its thumb and another had its lil hand on its chin like it was thinking or something. We could c the eyes, nose, mouth, spine and of course its little fingers and toes. It was neat to actually c it beginning to look like a lil person. Now if we can just find out what it is...Boy or Girl! We haven't bought a thing yet and some people think thats funny since its our first, I guess they figured we'd be out shopping as soon as we got the two pink lines, but when you dont know what it is...Its just not the same. I want to know what I am buying for before I start buying. Wont be long and we will have the Answer we're waiting for. I will try and get some pics up soon from the ultrasound. While we were n BG we went to Lonestar for supper and also went to Kohls so I could get me some clothes. With my baby bump growing daily it seems, I decided it was time to get some clothes that were a lil more suited for my pregnant belly. I know I am going to need them and I think a pregnant belly looks much cuter in clothes made for it. And hey...I got to get some new clothes!!
Today we're going to church and might do a lil running afterwards. Probably do what we have to do and then get home to watch the race. Its at Bristol this wk and had I not been sick for the last two wks and still have a pretty bad cough, we would be there. I sure wish I was but oh-well...TV will have to do. Happy Birthday JEREMY

Okay so its Wednesday now and no, I am not better yet. Well, better maybe but not well. I am still coughing and a bit congested but I am still hoping that SOON it will be all better. This week has been a pretty good one so far. Tuesday we had our 4 wk check up with Dr Trevor and it was pretty typical. Pretty much just in and out. We got to hear the heart beat and it was still going strong. The heart beat was 153 this go around. Other than doing that, Dr Trevor just let us know that everything looked good with the pics from the ultrasound and of course, answered any questions we had and we were on our way. Its hard to believe we are already almost 16 wks into this. Seems like only yesterday when we first found out. Crazy how time flies. Wont be long and we will be finding out what we are having so STAY TUNED. It may be sooner than 20 wks if we luck up and use our "connections" HAHA....We are excited to find out though and we may be able to do so with the help of a friend who just happens to do that kind of thing. Any how, things are going good with the pregnancy. Now if I can only get over this gosh awful cold!!!

Yesterday was Jeremy's birthday also and I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him eventhough I know he wont be reading it. We didnt do anything too special to celebrate seeming how it was on a Tuesday and I had to work. He did get to hear his baby's heart beat again on his bday so I guess that was a treat.Maybe we will do more this weekend and get his present too. Also My mom cooked supper last night for us, which worked out rather nice since I had to work late. It was nice because by the time I got here, Jeremy just met me at Moms and it was time to Eat. Mom isn't much of a cook, I have to share and she will not deny that but we had a pretty good meal. It was very nice of her to do that. Its the first time she's ever done it and I think it was Probably only because it was Jeremys bday and she likes him better than me I think. LOL!! Hope everyone else has had a good wk so far. Hump day is over and only 2 more days til the Weekend!!!!

Sick of being Sick

Okay so I have been sick all week and have about HAD ENOUGH!!! I am so tired of having to blow my nose every 5 minutes and coughing CONSTANTLY!! I had started to get better on Wed and Thursday I thought but Thursday night, it hit me hard and I have been awful every since. I could barely breath yesterday with all the congestion in my head and chest. I went back to the dr to be sure that I didn't need to get a breathing treatment and again yesterday, stayed home from work. Its very much not like me to miss work but there was just no way I could have made it through the day at work. I dont really think they would have wanted me there anyways. It sucks because there are so few medicines that you can take and the things you can take aren't good enough to kick what I have. I did get an antibiotic yesterday, but just a mild one. Hopefully it will soon start doing a little bit of good. Jeremy has been wonderful, of course. He has cooked supper, done dishes, gotten medicine, taken me to the dr...Everything and anything I could have asked for, he has done. Its times like these that make me so thankful to have such an amazing husband. I am hoping that the baby is doing great even through all of this. It makes me feel like all the meds are just too much but what do you do??? I have an apt on Tuesday for our 4 wk with the baby dr so we will be sure then that everything is still great. I am sure it is, I just hate to be sick and know that its not just me I have to worry about. HOpefully soon this will pass and I will get over this mess.

WAY BEHIND

Wow...So its been a little while since I posted and I have done just what I said I was going to try not to do and have gotten over a wk behind on posting. No excuse really, just haven't really felt much like blogging, myspacing, facebooking, etc lately. I guess its time to play a little catch up now. Jeremy got laid off last Saturday so he is home again for a while. Most think its a bad thing to be laid off, but around here, its not so bad. Its not like he wont be going back to work real soon on another job and I am glad to have him home!!! Last wk we were in Chattanooga because I had to go down and do some training for work. We got there Monday night and came back on Thurs afternoon. The hotel that TVA puts us in is really nice so I dont complain too much when I have to go down there. Last weekend was wonderful and I LOVED the weather. Saturday we went to Bowling Green early and went to my sis n Brads for Jeremy to meet up with Brad so that they could go fishing and I got to babysit little Baylee for the day and Maddy Shea was there as well. We decided to go to Three Springs Park for a while and Maddy took a friend with her. We fed the ducks and Madison took Baylee down some slides and played on some of the park equipment. Some of it Baylee liked and some she wasn't so crazy about. On Sunday we got up and went to church, which was really nice considering how long it had been since we had been. When Jeremy is working nights out of town, it makes it hard. Anyways, we were happy to get back to church. Sunday afternoon Jeremy grilled some Chicken and I fixed baked beans and potatoes and Josh, Kristin N Raigan came over for supper and stayed the night. Josh had OCS training in Greenville again so it was nice to get to spend time with them. I got to see all 3 of my Beautiful girls over the weekend and that made it GREAT!! Yesterday was a typical Monday I guess and today I have been sick and stayed home from work. My throat, ears and body have been aching but I think its actually just allergies and all the drainage has my throat extremely irritated. I plan to be back at work tomorrow. Hope everyone else has enjoyed the weather we have been having as well. Sounds like its going to cool off again soon but hopefully spring will set in for good before too much longer!
